Section 8

Workplace Practices

General Conduct

Treat coworkers, clients, and vendors with respect — every interaction, every shift.

Examples of conduct that may lead to discipline

  • Harassment, bullying, or threats (see Anti-Harassment)
  • Theft of MCFI, client, or coworker property
  • Fighting on MCFI or client property
  • Working under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Falsifying time, expense, or safety records
  • Insubordination toward a supervisor or safety lead
  • Repeated unexcused absence or tardiness

Discipline is progressive when the situation allows (verbal coaching → written warning → final written warning → termination), but serious violations can result in immediate termination.
